Suicide Prevention Presentation
About This Event
Join us for an important community presentation focused on suicide prevention, awareness, and support. Ashley, Community Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator with the VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System, will discuss how to recognize warning signs that someone may be experiencing a mental health crisis and offer practical guidance on how to start supportive conversations. Participants will also learn about local and national resources available to individuals and families, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Ashley will provide informational brochures, 988 awareness materials, and free gun locks as part of the program. This presentation is open to everyone and is designed to provide valuable information that can help strengthen our community’s ability to recognize, respond to, and support those in need.
