El Punto Cubano was first known as Punto Latino back in the early 2000's in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The parents of Amanda Wright owned a Cuban Restaurant in Montego Bay, Jamaica as they were eager to introduce Cuban food and it's culture to the neighborhoods of St.James.
